Junior Embryologist Position – IVF Laboratory

At 4 Embryologists, we are currently recruiting a Junior Embryologist to join a highly specialized and modern IVF laboratory within a leading reproductive medicine center.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional with:

  • A degree in Biology, Biomedicine, Biotechnology, or a related scientific field
  • Strong interest in embryology and assisted reproduction
  • High level of responsibility and precision when working with biological material
  • Team-oriented mindset and ability to work in an interdisciplinary environment
  • Good level of German and scientific English

Previous IVF lab experience is valued but not required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participation in core embryology lab procedures, including IVF, ICSI, and embryo culture
  • Handling and processing of semen samples and gamete preparation
  • Oocyte handling, including denudation and micromanipulation techniques
  • Cryopreservation procedures (vitrification and warming of oocytes and embryos)
  • Laboratory workflow coordination aligned with ongoing treatment cycles
  • Accurate documentation in electronic medical records and laboratory systems
  • Collaboration with clinical and patient management teams
  • Support during patient consultations from an embryology perspective

Position Details

  • Full-time position (40 hours per week)
  • Flexible working hours
